Terms of Service

Last updated May 4, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your participation in the Social Intern Affiliate Program (the “Program”), operated by Social Intern (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By applying to or participating in the Program, you (the “Affiliate”) agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Application

The Program is open to the public and free to join. To participate, you must apply through the Social Intern affiliate portal. Applications are reviewed before approval, and we reserve the right to accept or reject any applicant at our sole discretion, and to suspend or terminate any Affiliate at any time for violation of these Terms.

To be eligible you must (a) be at least 18 years of age, (b) have a public-facing website, social channel, newsletter, or comparable distribution channel, and (c) provide accurate and complete information during application.

2. Commission Structure

2.1 Commission Rate

We will pay you a commission equal to thirty percent (30%) of net subscription revenue from each Qualified Customer you refer to Social Intern. “Net subscription revenue” means amounts actually received by Social Intern, net of taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and processing fees.

2.2 Recurring Commission Window

Commissions are paid on each successful subscription payment a Qualified Customer makes for up to twelve (12) months from the date the customer first subscribes. After the 12-month window, no further commissions will accrue on that customer.

2.3 Cookie / Attribution Window

A referral is attributed to you when a visitor clicks your unique tracking link and subsequently subscribes within ninety (90) days. If a visitor clicks links from multiple affiliates, last-click attribution applies.

2.4 Qualified Customer

A “Qualified Customer” is a new paying customer who (a) was not an existing Social Intern customer prior to clicking your tracking link, (b) completes a paid subscription, and (c) remains an active paying customer beyond any free trial or refund period.

3. Payouts

Commissions are calculated monthly and become eligible for payout once your accumulated unpaid balance reaches a minimum of fifty U.S. dollars ($50 USD). Payouts are issued via PayPal or Wise on a monthly schedule. You are responsible for any fees imposed by your chosen payout method and for all applicable taxes on commissions you receive.

Commissions associated with subscriptions that are refunded, charged back, or canceled within the refund window will be reversed and deducted from your balance.

4. Promotion Guidelines

When promoting Social Intern, you agree to the following:

  • • Use only the marketing materials, screenshots, brand assets, and messaging we provide or that are publicly available on our website, without altering them in a misleading way.
  • • Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship in accordance with applicable law (including FTC endorsement guidelines and equivalent rules in your jurisdiction).
  • • Make only truthful, non-deceptive claims about Social Intern’s features, pricing, and results.

5. Prohibited Promotion Methods

You agree NOT to promote Social Intern through any of the following methods:

  • • Email or SMS outreach that violates the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, TCPA, or comparable anti-spam laws. Compliant email and SMS marketing is permitted.
  • • Incentivized signups, including offering cash, gift cards, points, sweepstakes entries, or other incentives to people who sign up through your link, except as expressly approved by us in writing.
  • • Misleading, deceptive, or false claims about Social Intern, its features, pricing, performance, or its founders.
  • • Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframe injection, automated traffic, or any technique that artificially generates referral traffic.
  • • Posting your tracking link on coupon, deal, or cashback sites, or in forums, subreddits, or comment sections in violation of the host platform’s rules.
  • • Promotion through content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or hateful.

6. Trademarks and Brand Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Social Intern name, logo, and approved marketing assets solely for the purpose of promoting Social Intern under this Program. You may not register domain names, social handles, or trademarks that include “Social Intern” or confusingly similar variants. All goodwill arising from your use inures to Social Intern.

7. Confidentiality

You may receive non-public information from us in connection with the Program (including unreleased features, pricing details, and partner kit materials marked confidential). You agree to keep such information confidential and to use it only for the purpose of promoting Social Intern under these Terms.

8. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you participate in the Program. Either party may terminate participation at any time, with or without cause, by providing notice through the affiliate portal or by email. Upon termination: (a) commissions earned and not yet reversed prior to termination remain payable subject to Section 3, (b) all rights granted to you under these Terms cease immediately, and (c) you must remove all Social Intern marketing materials and tracking links from your channels within ten (10) business days.

We may suspend or terminate your participation immediately, withhold accrued commissions, and reverse prior payments if we determine in good faith that you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity.

9. Independent Contractor

Your relationship with Social Intern under these Terms is that of an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship. You have no authority to bind Social Intern in any way.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SOCIAL INTERN MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE REGARDING THE LEVEL OF EARNINGS YOU MAY ACHIEVE THROUGH THE PROGRAM.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOCIAL INTERN’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL COMMISSIONS PAID OR PAYABLE TO YOU IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM. NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the affiliate portal or by email. Your continued participation in the Program after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
